Knoxville Summer of 1915 & Nuvoletta

Mezzo-soprano Lauren Cook, soprano Gretchen Crane, and pianist Aric Vyhmeister bring two of Samual Barber’s most important works to life at our first concert of the Festival.  Experience the enchanting nostalgia of Knoxville: Summer of 1915, a timeless masterpiece that captures the essence of a bygone era, performed by Crane and Vyhmeister. Cook will perform the whimsical and imaginative Nuvoletta with Vyhmmeister. This performance, like all SCSF Festival Week Concerts, is free and open to the public. Concert will be followed immediately by an Ice Cream Social reception graciously hosted by and at The Roost, 203 N 15th, Ashland, NE.
