Jenna Ferdon

Jenna Ferdon, violin, received her Bachelor of Music from Bradley University and a Master of Arts from the University of Iowa, where she studied with Marcia Henry Liebenow and Katie Wolfe, respectively.

Ferdon teaches private violin and viola lessons at Omaha Conservatory of Music and is a lead teacher for the conservatory’s String Sprouts program. Prior to these teaching appointments, she served as adjunct faculty of violin and viola at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, where she also maintained a studio of violin students. Ferdon has also enjoyed performing in a variety of midwestern symphonies, including the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony, Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, and the Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra.

During the summers, Ferdon is a teaching assistant at the Birch Creek Music Academy in Door County, Wisconsin, and the Five Seasons Chamber Music Festival in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and serves as Principal 2nd Violin in the Peoria Bach Festival orchestra
