Lauren Byers holds a bachelor's degree in K–12 Vocal and Instrumental Music Education with an emphasis in voice and a minor in piano from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Music Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Lauren teaches secondary vocal music at Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools, where she has served for the past three years. In addition to her work in public education, she directs a youth choir in Gretna and performs as a mezzo-soprano with the Sing Omaha Master Chorale, Resonance Vocal Ensemble, and the Nebraska Festival Singers.
